A man who drove to a security checkpoint near the White House in a car that was deemed suspicious has been detained by the U.S. Secret Service.
On Saturday, The car was stopped about a quarter-mile from the White House.
The Secret Service says it’s exploring. It hasn’t said what brought on the auto to be viewed as suspicious.
Republican President Donald Trump wasn’t at the White House since he and his family are spending the end of the week at his resort in Palm Beach, Florida.
Prior Saturday somebody hopped a low metal obstruction simply outside a White House fence. About seven days prior a man ruptured an external border fence and scaled a vehicle entryway to pick up passage to the White House grounds, bringing up issues about failures in security under the Secret Service’s watch.
